Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy is scheduled to consult with the ministers and officials at the Secretariat tomorrow to discuss the steps to be taken in relation to the heavy rains in Tamil Nadu.
Ministers Thangamani, SP Velumani, RP Uthayakumar and C.P. Vijayabhaskar and Duraikannu will participate. At the meeting, it is said that the areas that are most prone to heavy rainfall are to be evacuated from low lying areas, to monitor the water flow to the dams, to warn the coastal population and to prevent infection.
In addition, it is proposed to monitor agricultural land impacts and to immediately resolve issues related to electricity connections.
